Station8 Privacy Policy

Station8 is a HYROX training tracker for recording workouts, timing blocks, saving templates, and reviewing progress. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Data You Provide

If you create an account, Station8 receives your email address from Supabase Authentication. You may also provide an optional profile name and photo. Workout data may include workout dates, workout names, selected stations, distances, reps, start and end times, block times, skipped blocks, templates, and notes you choose to save.

Guest And Local Data

You can use the workout tracker as a guest. Guest workouts, templates, and profile details are stored in your browser's local storage and do not follow you to another device unless you sign in and save them to your account.

How We Use Data

We use account and workout data to authenticate you, save and display your history, compare matching workouts, show your profile, and provide the Station8 training experience. We do not sell workout data or use it for targeted advertising.

AI Training Suggestions

When Station8 generates a training suggestion, the current workout summary, selected workout details, recent saved history, and your request may be sent to Groq, an external AI service provider. Do not enter medical information, payment details, passwords, or other sensitive information in workout notes. AI suggestions are general training guidance, not medical advice.

Service Providers

Station8 uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and profile photos. It may use Groq to generate AI training suggestions and Google Analytics or advertising services when those services are enabled in the deployment. These providers process data according to their own policies and our configuration.

Health And Fitness Data

Station8 records fitness information that you enter, such as workout times, distances, reps, and notes. Station8 does not currently connect to Apple Health, HealthKit, medical records, motion sensors, or other device health APIs. Do not use Station8 for diagnosis, treatment, or emergency decisions.

Security And Retention

Account data is stored through Supabase and is protected by authentication and database access policies. We retain saved account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Local browser data remains on your device until it is cleared or removed through the app.

Account Deletion

Signed-in users can use Profile → Delete Account to permanently remove their Station8 authentication account, saved workout records, and profile record. Deletion cannot be undone. You can also clear guest data from the browser or device where it was created.

Privacy Choices And Updates

You may use Station8 as a guest, avoid optional profile fields, clear local browser data, or delete your account. This policy may be updated as Station8 changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
